The Marlow Players

Location of the flats is a demanding task. Requires one to do the work (Paul) and two to monitor (Brian, Tony).

Graham drops his day job (lighting) and sorts the never-fitting door with Pete. Some props in the background ready to be placed on stage.

Tony, Paul and Pete using the stage ladder to fix the flats in place. At the same time, the flood lights on the stage have to be adjusted as well—otherwise you may not be able to reach them once the set is in place.

Meanwhile, Rod is setting up the sound in his regular corner. One time of day it was tapes and CD. Now its all on a computer, sounds, voices, music all in the right order.

Stage setups take about 4-5 hours, assuming everything goes into the right place and have all the flats! We transform the theater with set, sound and lights, ready to perform all week. Then take it down again...
