The Marlow Players

The Doctor is played by Pete (bow tie) and the accomplice Elena is overhead by the Nurse, Pip (back to us). Looks like Tom, from NHS admin is checking out the wine for later while he gets ready to come on.

In these scenes from Murder is Announced, in the open rehearsal  are seated are Mura and Hillary (taking tea) with Emma, Pip and James (the house staff) looking on.

The lady of house, played by Gloria has in roads with the house maid (Pip).

The Inspector is played by Tony, who starts making his investigations, one at a time. First in line is one of the house staff, played by Emma

Some wheel chair action played by Tony. There is some explaining to do! Rod is doing sound at the back and Wendy is prompt ( is it a rehearsal after all!). The other players not actually in this show this time around, pass a critical eye over the performance.

An open rehearsal enables a the members of the cast to ‘dry run’ the current production before public performances. This is also gives others a sneak preview..
